Meet your guide

Originally from Kildare, I’m a father of three young kids and a husband, now happily based in the Northwest since 2014—drawn here by our love of the outdoors and surfing. Nature has always been where I’ve felt most myself, but working in engineering meant my time outside was limited to weekends. That led me to take the leap, swapping the 9-to-5 for a lifelong dream—launching my own adventure company and sharing my passion for the outdoors with others on a daily basis.

Benbulben 🥾 One of our staples, Benbulben is a fantastic mountain to have a great day out on, experienced hiker or not. It has some of the greatest views (on days where Irish weather plays ball). Even without the views,the fun we always have on this mountain is unmatched! It’s a good boggy trudge in and up the gully (this is the hardest part but still really accessible) the rest of the way to the summit is fairly flat which is where all the good chats come in! We stop for the gram photos and high fives at the summit. Then we make our way further toward the front to catch the views over a sambo and some coffee before making our way back down and dropping into a cool cave you never saw coming! If it’s your first climb or your 100th, we take safety seriously, our groups stay together no matter the pace, you are absolutely welcome here! Usual Irish hiking gear required, especially good boots, waterproofs and warm layers!
